Atlanta

Brayden went on his 7th flight to Atlanta this past weekend. He was such a trooper on the flight. He wooed all the stewardesses and charmed the people around us. We got to Atlanta early so as a family we could see some sights.
First we went to the Georgia Aquarium. Brayden loved all the bright colors!

We were in a tunnel surrounded with fish. Brayden loved seeing fish above him!

Brayden liked to snack on his hands as he dreamed of fish sticks!

After a while the tour got very dark for Brayden.

We also got the chance to go to the World of Coke. Scott could only stay for a little while, so we saw as much as we could in a short amount of time.

Here is the tasting room. You can taste 64 flavors of pop from all over the world. We didn't let Brayden try any, I didn't want him to get any cavities.
He didn't mind!

This time he pretended his hand tasted like cherry coke!

We took him swimming at the hotel daily. The indoor pool is located right next to a huge ballroom. The first night we got in our swimsuits and floaties and headed to swim and were surprised to find Prom going on next door! So we got to walk the red carpet with the high school kids and tell them that this is the end result of our prom night, be careful!! I think we put a damper on some of the kids after parties.
The next night we headed down to swim to once again be greeted by another Prom! We tried to blend in as we snuck into the pool!
You might wonder how we bathe a baby on the road. We have found he likes to float on his back and kick in the tub. He was lucky to have his dad help him after swimming in this picture.

When Scott was gone at work I took Brayden to the park and walked around. Apparently one day I walked the wrong direction in downtown Atlanta. Did you know Atlanta has some seedy areas? Well, apparently I walked Brayden to one of those places. I decided not to take pictures of that area! After realizing that I was running out of options of places to go, I decided to go back to the Aquarium for another trip! That was a safe spot!
Brayden was a champ in Atlanta. On to Austin Texas!

Surgery- May 3rd

A quick update about his surgery. Brayden goes in at 9:30 am to Emmanuel to get his stent taken out. He will go under, however only have to spend half a day at the hospital. Thank you for continuing to pray for him.

Hawaii

Brayden went on his first vacation last week. He went on his 6th plane ride to get to Maui. We have traveled before, but not vacationed. We headed over there for a week with my parents. Brayden enjoyed learning to be in a pool, discovering sand, and being in warm weather for the first time in his life! The idea of not needing to wear pants thrilled him!

Brayden was dressed like a shark so he could conquer the pool!
He loved the pool. He went under water 6 times!

He was a little chilly after

The beach provided lots to look at, and a lot of sand in his diapers

He had a lot of quality grandparent time.

Oh, so this is why Island Man loves Hawaii

Morning walks with Grandma were a highlight for him and allowed me to sleep past 5:30 am!

Family time!

He found his thumb this trip. He takes it everywhere now.

He would fall asleep at 7pm on the way to dinner, so we dressed him in jammies for dinner! Classy

Hanging loose

So much fun!!

We have been having a great week with Easter, family, and friends!

Aunt Sandy and Uncle Dick came up for a visit. They were great support as Brayden went through his surgery. He loves the attention he gets from them! Aunt Sandy gave me this outfit when I was born!
Easter was a great time to be with family. We went to church the night before, so on Easter we went over to my parents for lunch. He didn't do very well when it came to finding eggs.

We went to Scott's favorite place with some of my favorite people! Kingston and Brayden had their first wings together, or well at least were at a wing joint together!
They look thrilled don't they?

These boys are getting big!! Brayden is envious of Kingston's hair still!

Scott is always so proud of his little man, oh yeah, and the wings!

Scott designed this, it's so true! The drool enhances the shirt.

April 9th was a really big day for Brayden, he met his future wife! Lucy Trihub was born on the 8th, which we are all so excited about! He's had many pictures with her, but she was always in the womb.

We LOVE her parents, and Lucy, of course!!!!

Brayden attened his first birthday party ever!It was for Kelsey. This was the first time he'd seen a K birthday cake! He loved reading with Kels and she learned how to give him a bath. Lots of firsts today for Brayden and Kelsey today!
