5th Birthday - Part II Disneyland

After Avonlea cryed about 45 minutes of the drive to the Grand Californian Hotel from Legoland we were all thrilled to be at Disney.
First stop of the evening: naps!
Second Stop: oh wait, there is Santa, I guess he is our next stop.

Third Stop: Dinner at Rainforest Cafe!

The next morning Scott stayed back with Avonlea and we got to Disneyland right when the doors opened. I had an action plan so we could see the most and go on the most rides for the day,

Island Man and B were eager to find the rides, but first they had to see Dale, who was looking lonely in his Christmas sweater.

First Ride was Peter Pan.

Second Ride, Alice in Wonderland.

Scott got there right in time! Avonlea's first ride!

Watching Dumbo ride, the third ride!

Space Mountain, would he like it? He LOVED it!!!!!

Star Tours: owned it. I think he rode it 7 times in 2 days,

Astro Blasters with Avonlea.

While the others went to Splash Mountain I decided to wait in line with Avonlea to meet a few furry friends. (I just did the ride and B was going for the second time.)

Classic. She loved the petting but not the picture.

Maybe Pooh would be better?

Yes!!!

Quick, I see B, toss him in the picture too!

One of my favorite pictures.

Splash Mountain Butt
Nap time = kid free 1.5 hours!
Cars land

Tower of Terror

Back to grab a few more rides. The fireworks were beautiful!

And yes, there was snow. Enchanting.

One tired boy that night.

The next morning was Cars Land with the group!!!

Red sang him Happy Birthday.

They all went second time, which means I get pics with Avonlea!

Toy Story Mania!!

He went on a few rides.....

And Princess Avonlea just hung out.

This activity with Luigi's tires worked better for the boys....

There two just laughed at Mom and I.

Epic Disney fail: Going into Disney during a parade. It was terrible! Note he's wearing both kids.

B loved the Bobsleds. Front row for the kid!

The ending of Disneyland and a wonderful day at the park.

The next morning was the Critter Breakfast. Honestly he didn't know the characters much, but who doesn't love woodland creatures coming up to you while you eat Mickey waffles.

We decided to own the pool after breakfast. We might have waited the 30 minutes before swimming....

Are you all shocked? Avonlea is not wearing a headband. Oh, and she LOVES the water.

This is how I bathed her. I didn't want her on the bathroom floor.....

This is the view after getting home from a long flight and a day full of swimming and not enough napping.

Please note Scott is awake
This whole idea started out as my parents wanting to take B to Disneyland on his 5th birthday. I'm so glad they came up with this idea. It was a trip to top all trips. We are excited to take Avonlea when she is 5!
