June, what happened before Avonlea

This is out of order, I realize this. But, there are a few things I really loved about June that I glossed over because of Avonlea's birth. Now that I'm sleeping more than 3 hrs at a time I want to go back and highlight a few events.

A few bumps and babies in the making.

We try and swap kids with some of our friends for date nights.

Kara was the baby........

Once Shayne and Payton left (going to the beach) Lucy and B went on an adventure with Scott.

B sure loves his dad.

We went to Nana's house for lunch and puzzles.

B and mommy time. A steamer is always a treat!

We briefly headed to the beach.

Meanwhile at our house......

My date at the Sleepy Monk.

Counting and sorting roasted vs non roasted coffee beans.

Rolling with Dad!

So, we installed the baby car seat early, just in case.......

One of my dearest students, Brittany, graduated!!!

Strawberry picking!

Last day of 3's preschool! Before and after!

While looking over these pictures I realize why Avonlea came early! Phew! B and I were living it up for the last month of being an only child!

Life with two

Life with two has been an adjustment time. With Brayden I slept when he slept, I took him on leisurely walks, and we had so much free time. Now I'm healing from a c-section, have a 4 year old to entertain, and am sleepy!!!! Here is a glimpse into our not relaxed, but fun summer.

Avonlea had a sweet shower thrown for her of my old teaching partners. It was wonderful on many levels.
Robin is a staple in my kids life.
Just some of the wonderful teaching friends.

Adriane is the baby whisperer. When I grown up I want to be like her. She is amazing.

Brayden loves to hold "his baby." He adores her and always wants to be around her.

This summer our neighbor, Miss Emma, came for a few hours each week so I could work and get a few things done. Here is the chalk paint activity B loved!!!!

While Avonlea doesn't sleep in our bed, she would if she could!

Island Man of two now!!!!

Avonlea has a lot of friends being born right now. Gunnar is one of her older friends. By older I mean a month.

Elsa makes being a mom of three littles look easy!

B has graduated from scream lessons to swim lessons. He is actually doing really well.

Friends are still coming by to meet Avonlea. Heather even brought us an amazing dinner!

Celebrating Grandma's birthday!!

4 generations!

B apparently is pretty cued in to what I'm doing. He now nurses Chicky when she is hungry.

Summer dinners with friends is common. We really enjoy Kai and Nico.

The baby is smaller than the meat.

"I want to hold my baby!"

Scott's cousin Sarah came out to visit. We always enjoy her and love seeing her. She came with bubbles for B and AMAZING girl clothes for Avonlea.

"I want to hold my baby!"
Cheek to cheek.

Brayden loves puzzles. This is what it looks like in his room every morning.

I just love this girl!

This is her sleeping!

We have spent a lot of time at the Swim Park. Scott is amazing taking Brayden there and practicing swimming.

I get put on baby duty,

This is a lot of her life these days.

As a family we took B to see Planes:Fire and Rescue. He loves going to the movies!

Scott and Avonlea on national wing day!

Play dates with Shayne are always fun. At VBS the two of them were told to stop kissing! Ha!

A lot of time is spent looking like this.

Aunt Lauren means lots of Lego fun!

Sharon visited and brought us a great meal!

Life with two is a huge adjustment. There is a lot of joy that comes from watching B say "Hi Avonwee, its your big broffer." He just adores her and wants to tell everyone to come look at his baby!
