Brayden's First Zoo visit

I know typically zoo picutes have animals in them. Brayden was very smart and actually was more excited about Shayne. He loves talking to her, showing her tricks, and looking into her blue eyes. They loved being out in 80 degree weather!

Busy B

Brayden has been learning new skills like crazy recently. He can sit, grab toys, and stand with support. At his 6 month appointment his doctor was really surprised how strong he is. This week we got good news that his kidney is doing really well. There is less swelling and it seems that his right kidney, the one with cysts, is shrinking. After 4 appointments at the hospital on Tuesday we left feeling blessed with good news, but also really tired!

Last week we went to  Cannon beach for a week. There good friends, the Suarez family, joined us!

Rocco loved showing Brayden toys!

Elianna was very sweet and playful with Brayden.

He found sun at the Coast!

But at night he needed to wear mittens from Paris that his Aunt Lauren gave him!

At home we are learning how to be gentle petting the cat

He spent some time with Lucy, and decided dogs are a little scary.

His new skill is pretending he's a rocker!

Solids and Friends

Brayden loves solid food. He eats cereal, squash, and bananas. This new skills creates a lot more dishes! Who knew a 5 month old could create such a mess!

Ries has to be a part of everything Brayden does. She supervises feedings to make sure he has a balanced diet.

We since he's so young we have to dilute the beer still.

We had our first play group from church here today. It was really fun to see the little ones scoot around. Brayden can't keep up with them sitting, so he had a little sitting help. It just motivated him to work harder to show off his ab skills in 2 weeks at the next play group!

Here is Brayden's friend Millie. Here they are at almost 2 months and now at almost 6 months!
