Indy Adventures - Katy Perry and a Colts game!

Thanks to Scott's company I got to accompany him and 3,000 attendees of Connections 2011 to the Katy Perry Concert.
We were so close we could touch the stage and Katy Perry! Talk about amazing 'seats.'

Yep, that's Katy!

We were joined by Chip and Peter, real Katy Perry fans.

I almost wore the same outfit!!

Kid free and loving life!!! Until.......

The foam gun came out of no where!

Then Katy Perry herself decided to annihilate Scott in bubbles!

Yes, I'm okay another woman did this to him. He looks okay with this too.
"I love Katy"

Peter and Chip were a bit foamy too,but Scott had them beat!

We love Katy Perry!
Four Days later Scott was given a few tickets to a Colt game. We were given access to the Quarter Back Suite to enjoy the game.
This was Brayden's first NFL game, so he cheered loud as the chair folded him in half!

Cheering standing up was less scary!

He was in heaven!!!!

He can't even take his eyes off the game for a picture.
(I'm counting this picture as 20/52 in our year of pictures together.)

Before leaving he had a Colts cookie which made this event one of his all time favorites.

The Move

We are officially here in Carmel Indiana. While we are still clinging to our Oregon roots by not changing out license plates or drivers license, we are officially Hoosiers. We have been lucky to have three sets of family come by and visit us. I'm hoping that is a sign of things to come! We love guests!!!!

B loved being on a flight with a PB&J sandwich!
You can never be too prepared!

My sweet friend Ciara made the most wonderful gift for Brayden. It is a travel mat. It has things to button, snap, zip and move. Brayden had so much fun with it!

Scott had his Indy driver come pick us up with the biggest car he had for all our luggage. A limo will do just fine! :)

Once we got here we came over to our new neighborhood and went swimming!

Next we became members of The Children's Museum. Brayden was a great archaeologist!

He loves trains these days!

But not as much as RACE CARS!
He loves train tables so much. I have a feeling we will have to invest in one soon.

The water table is always a hit with Brayden. We do this last because it's like a bath, with his clothes on.

This is one of the cutest things I have seen, B as a dino!

Is it a egg or a ball?

This is one proud dino!!

Scott's boss was really thoughtful and invited a few coworkers over for a wonderful meal. Brayden loved playing with the Leet boys, Hudsen and Beckham.

Lauren was so sweet with Brayden. She was thoughtful and patience with B.

The boys loving dinner.

Quintin and Lauren taking B on an adventure for smore sticks.

Our stuff arrived from Portland a week after we arrived. Of course having a toddler around was really helpful for unpacking.

This is the packing material in one box....
(They don't recycle out here......Yikes!)

For Brayden this was a wonderful pile to play in!

He was busy and quiet, so I continued to unpack while he had fun.....

This was only one box of packing material  + Brayden = MESS!

This is why when Aunt Lauren arrived we could not be more happy!
She put together a kitchen which would not have happened if she wasn't here. Brayden loved 'helping' her.

He basically wanted to do anything/everything that Lauren did.
We went out to dinner to celebrate Aunt Lauren's birthday!

Brayden loved the local Italian restaurant.

On the walk home B insisted on holding hands with Aunt Lauren.

Once Brayden said a very tearful goodbye to Aunt Lauren Grandma and Grandpa Roth came!

Brayden couldn't get enough of Grandpa Dan. They read together, played together, and did guy stuff.

B has a new best friend!!!

What could be better than a walk with Grandpa? Grandma!!!! He loved being with both of them!

Grandma was great at feeding the cup of milk before nap and bed time.

So cute!

Brayden spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa while I went to Scott's work event. Here they are the next morning at the Children's Museum on the train. He loved his time with his Grandparents!!

Who loves spaghetti?

The next day Uncle Steve, Aunt Kama, Sienna, and the newest cousin Kai joined us!!!
Who is this little boy? He wanted to snuggle with Aunt Kama. He never snuggles!

Sienna was really good at helping B bike.

Kisses!!!!

We went to the Arts District for lunch in downtown Carmel.

There are statues everywhere.

Should I tell him she's not real?

Hmmmm, he's catching on......

Love this!

Brayden wanted to be cool like his dad.

Here is baby Kai!!! She is such a sweet girl!!

Here are the two kids! They are 7 months apart and play so well together.

Nothing cuter than two naked cousins in a bath!

Bubbles in the hair.......

Sienna can help!

Before they left we went to the park next to our house. The kids had so much fun swinging.

We loved having all the family around. It was nice to have something familiar around while we get settled here.
