Before heading out for a fun day, Brayden has to make sure all the fur from loving Ries is off his clothes.
But, sometimes it's just easier to take off the clothes to get the fur off.
Brayden and I go to art class every week. He liked it better this week. It was edible art week. We sat down and he put his face right in the oatmeal. I swear I gave him breakfast.
After painting the paper he painted dinos. We made dino tracks on his paper.
Since we didn't have a lint roller to get the dinos clean, we had to give them a bath.
He really liked the dino bath!
The next day we met some friends at Play Boutique.
He enjoyed playing with Ellary. (He does have guy friends, but he LOVES the ladies.) The bouncy house wasn't very bouncy. It was like a water bed, but not quite as cool.
'kkkkkkk' = car in Brayden language.
He spotted this right away! He's actually a really good shot.
Too bad he didn't realize he was shooting a play orange verses a ball. That will be the next thing we work on.
On Saturday morning we headed to our favorite Portland coffee shop, The Hoff. If Brayden is good he gets spoons and a cup of water.
After coffee it was off to the playground with his parents.
He loves the little slide. There is one thing he loves more than the slide......

After nap time he headed to the zoo with his dad. We lie to him and tell him it's his zoo. It's in our backyard, so we go there often. Anyone who tells him Santa doesn't exist or the zoo isn't his is going to have to answer to Scott.
He loves elephants as much as he loves kitties. When he sees one in a book, his stuffed animal, or any other type he says, 'ppphhhffff.' We are very proud.
He enjoyed meeting a new friend, but thought he needed a hair cut.
A few days later he went to the zoo with his friend Gabby. She does cool things like walk and talk. She's a good role model for Brayden.
Brayden thought the fish were pretty cool until he saw the.....
Alligator. It's hard to see, but it's floating behind him.
He likes seeing his animals, while snacking on puffs. This is the life!
Brayden and Gabby had a great time. He can't wait to meet Gabby's sister due in March!
Brayden was super excited to see his best buddy turn one. Kingston was a picture perfect birthday boy!
Brayden coached him how to dig into the cake. He's had lots of experience.
Kingston needed no help digging into his cake. He was one happy boy.
Brayden was proud of his buddy.
Even though Kingston had tons of fun toys, Brayden loved the stairs. He thought this was the coolest feature of the house.
Scott and I decided to take him to a soaking tub, located at a McMenamins, at the Kennedy School. When we arrived every person in a 15 mile radius had the same idea. We instead decided to order a beer and allow him to crawl the vast corridors.
He thought it was a really fun adventure.
Freedom!!
This is one thing Scott is really good at doing.
After flying Brayden got thirsty. Brayden thought it was so cool there are indoor bubblers.
He was obsessed with it. He wants to get a fountain in his room when he gets older.
Before we left he wanted to make sure everyone was safe.
While we didn't go swimming, we did get to drink beers while wearing swimsuits, as Brayden crawled and explored to his heart's content.
