Boys St. Louis Adventure Part II

Due to the clothes in these pictures I had to wait to announce baby Noodle before posting these pictures. I didn't go to St. Louis due to having a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum. This means having lost a lot of weight, throwing up too much, and I am really sick. 2% of pregnant ladies get this, lucky me!! I get IV treatment daily now with hydration and meds. So this is what I was doing while the boys were in St. Louis. (If you don't like medical pics scroll down.)

For 3 weeks I hung out with the chemo patients and got my infusions.

Then I got a PICC line inserted because I was told to double my infusions and I needed to do them from home. So I went into day surgery and had this inserted into my arm.

Meet Stan, my stand. And my pump, who is more temperamental than our cat Ries.

So now 7 days a week I hook up and get hydration and meds through IV. My pole, Stan, and I get a lot of quality time together.

Back to the boys.....
B wore this shirt to tell his cousins he was a big brother!
Sienna and B are so cute together.
No surprise Legos were Brayden's favorite activity.

Uncle Tom time

Rachael is getting to be a quick loom bracelet maker. She made one for B and Sienna.

Back to Legos, Grant has some good skills.

Emmett joined in

Look at what Grandma Mickey made!

Love the purse

Not sure about this picture, but it makes me smile. Brayden was smitten with Emmett!

Playing with cousins is the best!

After a few days at Papa and Mickey's house Scott and Brayden went to Steve and Kama's house for a few days. On the way in began to snow!

We don't get much snow, so this was very exciting!!

Yeah, best dad award goes to this guy!

Sienna and B went with Steve and Scott to Myseum, a kid museum.

Brayden in Heaven!

Steve and Kai were around, but my photographer didn't get any pics of them.......

The day they left Papa and Mickey took Brayden to a special place called Monkey Joes. To say he loved it was an understatement.

Grandma knows B loves The Magic School Bus series. She surprised B with a book at lunch and read it to him. What a good grandma!!

After 6 days in St. Louis Scott and B beat the snow storm that was coming in by 5 hours. Phew!

It was an epic adventure for Brayden. He had a lot of quality dad time and LOVED all his cousin time. I missed them a lot, so Noodle and I were glad to have them back.

To our loyal followers

We have been very excited and a bit quiet about this next picture. Our little miracle baby will be joining us in July. Brayden has named her Noodle and is convinced Noodle is a girl! :) We don't know for sure, but we hope he is right.

We thought we would share this with our loyal followers first. :)

Boys St. Louis Adventure Part I

The boys headed out to St. Louis for New Years Eve and family time.
Because Scott got up graded he thought it best B not sit by himself, so B got the royal first class treatment as well!
First stop, the club lounge for snacks. B calls this the snack room.

Heading our in style to Minneapolis.

Apparently Chicky loves first class too.

Quick meal before getting on the plane to St. Louis!

All B's buddies are ready to fly!

The shuttle bus to rental cars might be a bummer to some people, but it's fun for little boys!

Finally he was at Papa and Grandma Mickey's house!!!

And then promptly crashed after a long, but fun day.

Cousin morning! Sienna and Rachael were ready to play!

Some basketball with Emmett, Grant and Anna.
Searching for sticks with Emmett.

Looking at a birds nest with Aunt Sue.

Sienna and B are 7 months apart. The two of them are thick as thieves.

B was super exited to see all the family and celebrate Christmas with them!
Part II to come!

Christmas Eve and Christmas

We were excited for the much talked about Paella Christmas Eve dinner. We headed to church and then went to Island Man and Grandma's house for dinner.

Uncle Napkin Face tends to come out at meals.

To say Brayden loves it is an understatement.

We did the traditional open one gift on Christmas Eve. Uncle Nathan and Aunt Lauren gave an amazing gift, Legos!!!

Nana got a puppy that sings and wiggles.

The rest of the night B was very busy. :)

Christmas morning was at our house as a a family. B LOVED his new Bumble Bee. Last year it was the $12 Craigslist Wall-E, this year it was the consignment $5 robot that was the hit. I should get the hint by now about prices........
Both guys are ready to cook!

Even Ries got a present!

We then packed up and went to my parents house for stockings, brunch, and presents.

Stockings are sort of a big deal, we all give to them, which is fun.

Brayden thought Nathan should wear the stockings.
Which proved to be amazing ice skates.

Then it was time for brunch!

Creepy Santa bread? Check!

Then it was present time. B got into them, literally. He loved the ABC book made for him by Aunt Lauren.

So happy!

Helping Nana

Mr. Potato Head's hat is very festive.

This is how B spent his Christmas day. He loved reading all the Lego booklets and then building. The adults all were amazed that he was busy for hours.

This was the first Christmas that B really got into Santa and the advent calendar. Because of all the stocking stuffers that came in for With Love, and us buying items for it, he also started to understand the concept that not everyone has a tree and presents. He can tell the Jesus birth story and why we have Christmas. That's also a first. What a great day!
