More Friend Fun!

Brayden and Shayne had a play date on Tuesday. When he woke up from his nap I brought her in to say hi.
You might think he's sad, but this is a squeal of delight!!

Ries loves this new phase of the babies feeding themselves. It means she gets treats too!

On Thursday we had the babies from our church play group over. It was PURE chaos, and we loved it.
Millie and Brayden have been buddies since birth.

Triston was a friendly dragon, Kesa was a very impressive walking monkey.

This is what happens when you get 6 babies together for a picture.

Needless to say Brayden had a blast!!

Fall Fun With Friends

Brayden has been a very social butterfly recently. Between play dates and parties he has been busy.
Scott has said that this outfit isn't very 'cool' for a boy, so we have a different costume for him for Halloween. I had to try this kitty outfit on him, just for kicks. Apparently Ries loved this costume. Finally a playmate for her.
She soon realized that this new friend was mobile and looked slightly similar to Brayden,.

Brayden LOVED playing his favorite animal!

Bradyen invited a few friends over to play. Two of my teaching friends from Cooper brought their two boys to come play. Tate, Owen, Quinn, Brayden, and Landon are great buddies.

On Friday night the 7th Annual Corn Maze party was thrown at our house. Shayne came to party with Brayden. He thought her costume was really sweet. Shayne and Brayden went on their first night corn maze. Yes, they are hardcore babies.
On Monday Kingston came to hang out with Brayden. Brayden is jealous of Kingston's grill. He has six teeth, while Brayden only has two.

It's so fun to live in community with such amazing people.

Seattle Weekend

Scott was working in Seattle on Friday, so Brayden and I jumped at the chance to go back to my old stomping grounds. We staying with our dear friends Niki and Mike. It's really fun to see our kids growing up together.

It's hard to tell here, but there are 3 car seats in the back of the car. It was an amazing sight!

Brayden loved being at the park with Eliana and Rocco.

The two boys play really well together.

Brayden could swing for hours.

Eliana was such a help pushing the two boys.

Brayden got a few rides with Niki down the slide. Two things he loves!

The next day we all went to a pumpkin patch. We found a little pony, so of course Brayden had to ride it.

Rocco decided that he too could take Brayden for a ride.

Brayden thinks his dad is so much fun.

Yes, we typically pose for pictures in Conestoga wagons.

We found a Brayden sized tractor. While he enjoyed it, he wishes he could reach the peddles.

Of course, the Brayden smile.

Sunday morning we went to brunch with some of my old roommates, and their husbands. Brian, in the middle, wasn't technically a roommate, he camped in our backyard. Close enough!

Then we went to Queen Anne and visited the Carlyle kids, the kids I used to nanny. Adi, now 13, was 2 when I started working with them. Times have changed, just a little.

On our way home we went to the Moberg's house.

It was a wonderful weekend. I love introducing Brayden to people I care about.

What 10 Month Olds Do

Brayden has been one busy boy these days. While he's not crawling yet, he scoots everywhere. He loves to be out in the sun on beautiful Fall days.

Brayden decided to have dinner with Shayne. He introduced her to tofu, she loved it! She introduced him to kiwi, he loved it. What good friends!

As a host he not only provides dinner, he also has after dinner entertainment. Plus he likes to share Ries with Shayne.
Brayden loves to help me get ready in the morning. He really enjoys playing with my bubble bath.
Being curious has its set backs.

He loves to go to the library for baby time. He loves to see Shayne there!

Brayden LOVES to go to the park. He needs help to go down the slide, but he really enjoys it.

He's little but loves to play!

This is one happy boy!

The weather is ideal now for the park.

Brayden loves it when he finds friends!

Brayden has two different play groups that he goes to. These are his friends who are all the same age as him.

Brayden is such a happy little guy who loves to interact with others.

First Pumpkin Patch!

I have to warn you before you read this entry that the pictures you are about to view are extremely cute.

We decided to go to Sauvies Island to visit a beautiful pumpkin patch. It was a perfect fall day to go search for the perfect pumpkin. Brayden was so excited to see pumpkins. Frankly, I would be scared to see a pumpkin my size, but Bradyen loved it!!
He loved to feel the pumpkins!
He loved them so much he wanted to look like one!
He looked around and realized he loved all the orange!

He loved being with new 'friends'
Scott chose the pumpkin he wanted to take home.

Brayden liked his choice!

I thought it was a pretty good choice.

Before we could leave we needed to weigh our pumpkin

This is seriously cute

He started to get attention from others, I don't know why.

He had to check out his competition

After the pumpkin patch we went and looked at other produce.

He loved being in the grass

I love this grin. It's Brayden's signature smile.

He decided that he was done rolling, and had to leave
Then Scott combined two of his favorite things, Brayden and chicken wings

We realized there is just a certain amount of time that we can dress him up, so we are going to take advantage of this time as much as we can!
