Grandma Mickey and Papa visit

Grandma Mickey and Papa came in for a 9 day visit to meet Avonlea for the first time and to enjoy some family time.
Clearly Avonlea and Papa hit it off right away.
More Papa time!

Out to dinner with the family can be so tiring

Shocking, B wanted Lego time with Papa.

Grandma is really into puzzles. So B had a partner who didn't need breaks. (Yes, I pull the break card because puzzles aren't my strength.)

Scott made an amazing dinner for all the family to enjoy one night.

Hey, how did Papa get pulled into making the puzzle?

Papa and Island Man owning the beers.

I love this picture!

It's a Grandpa sandwich. B is in heaven!

Scott made an amazing dinner for all of us!

Avonlea is basically adored 24/7.

Papa and B played a lot of baseball. Look at the form! Papa spells baseball C-U-B-S.

Great Aunt Judy came over for dinner and met Avonlea.

I love that all the grandparents can be with B and A. What a precious time.

One side of the family!

Papa and Grandma time!

Poor Papa needs Dr. Brayden. What is that B, you think Papa needs a pace maker?

Avonlea was snuggled a lot by Grandma. She has the touch, that's for sure.

We all came to the beach house for a night. We stayed and Island Man and Grandma had to go back to work.

Great moments

Mickey spent so many hours playing with B at this table. She is so patient playing cards, matching cards, or doing puzzles with an eager 4 year old.

Candyland time!

This is a blanket Mickey made before we knew if Avonlea was a boy or girl!

Avonelea loved taking in the beach.

This kid now loves the water. Swim lessons have finally paid off!

Such a boy......

Into the frigid water.....

Everyone in.......

Well, not everyone.

Once wet it's great to make sand angels.

Avonlea is such a people person. She loves to chat, gaze, and interact. Don't you dare leave her alone in a room. She wants to be around people.

When out at a restaurant it's suggested that you wear the booster seat on your head.

Its also suggested you just look cute.

They are back at it again.

Sometimes cards can be tiring.

Grandma is now teaching Avonlea the basics.

This is really an attempt to get Avonlea to sleep. We happened to end up at a bar.

This kid loves the sand.

Puzzles when out at a restaurant!

What is a puzzle?

Oh yes, I was at the beach too with this cute kid.

Making the sunset, with his arms!

Love this picture!

Melt my heart!

B could not be any prouder!

I hope they always stay this close. Including Chicky.
