Papa and Mickey's visit continued

When we got back from the coast something new had happened to Island Man. Here are a few hints:
B loves to drive it......

Brayden has his own seat in it.....
And he and Island Man both have one......

It's a Mustang!
(Okay, B's is a Power Wheels one you ride on, but still...)

After checking out the new car it's always fun to play baseball in the garage. Good thing the Jetta isn't the new car anymore. That means it's okay to hit it with a soft baseball.

We took Mic and Dan to Pok Pok. They were very good sports trying authentic Thai cuisine.

One morning we went to the Children's Museum. B drove Dan around.

Mic and B played trains.

Mic drove the ambulance while B navigated. I'm sad to say the person in the back didn't make it. The good news is Brayden navigated them to a near by ice cream shop.

B and Dan worked in the restaurant.

Until B decided to serve them dinner himself.

Wearing two oven mitts can make it tricky, however all the good chefs do it.
Time to build!
Oh, I mean go camping!

Now time for Grandma Mickey to read B a story.

Why  is it fun to pretend to sleep, but not during nap time.......
After such a busy morning we headed to my favorite breakfast spot, Babica Hen.

One evening we had all the family over! B decided to dress up.
Scott made an amazing salmon dinner.
We were glad Aunt Judy got to join us.
All the family together!
Griffith side!

This is the last time all the grandparents were together!
Things have changed!

We had a great visit with Scott's parents. Mic and Dan were amazing baby sitters, hands on grandparents, and good sports when it came to trying different restaurants!

Cannon Beach living part II

We were sad to see Anna, Kingston, and Ruby leave Friday morning. The kids played so well together and it was wonderful to catch up with an old friend.
The good news is that Island Man, Gaga, and Nana were arriving for the weekend!

A new puzzle kept B and Island Man busy for a while!
Then after dinner some dancing time with Grandma!
Don't forget Nana dancing too!
Scott arrived early Sunday morning from a week in Salt Lake. After a week of work he got to spend a day skiing with this good friend since kindergarten. I'm just glad he came back in one piece!

Once Nana, Island Man, and Gaga left, B and I decided to make cupcakes to celebrate Papa's birthday. Papa and Grandma Mickey were coming for a 12 day visit from St. Louis. They arrived on Dan's birthday.

B was helpful creating the batter for the cupcakes.
However icing the cupcakes was a while other story. I let B do one cupcake, while I frosted the other 25.
Because I knew this was going to happen.......

"Who me? I didn't eat any frosting! Look at my cupcake! I'm so proud!"

Time to try out the goods!
"Ga-lish-ous"
Papa and Mickey arrived after 3 flights, and a flat tire. We were happy they made it!
B's help is always critical when blowing out candles. It's a nice mix of spit to breath ratio.
The next morning we hit the beach. Mic and Dan came for the best break in the wet weather. We took advantage of it while we could.

B saw us play Rummicube all weekend. Mickey decided 'play it' with him. I don't really know what B did with the tiles for an hour, but I know that Mickey was a good sport!

B loved playing soccer with Papa.

After B was worn out he came over to build with Dad.

What were they building?

B's favorite thing in the sand: A sand car!

Three generations of Roths.
B really loves the beach, can you tell?

I just love this picture. It captures the phase he is in right now.

Hi!

March madness was about to start! Who is more excited, Scott or B?

Can you guess where we went to eat dinner?

After a great visit to the coast it was time to head back to the house. After being here two weeks it was time to go home.
