Cannon Beach Living Part 1

Ah the Coast! I love it here. It's a break from normal life, allows B to play in nature, plus we are located in a place where we can walk everywhere. What is not to love!
B is very helpful with Island Man's stretching routine.

We love having Stace over, she is a student at Ecola Bible college.

Yes, we love the rainy coast!

In Hawaii B loved having 'cars' made for him in the sand. In Oregon the sand is a bit wetter and colder than Hawaii!!

These two are such good buddies.
It's pictures like these that make me realize what a little boy B is turning into.

This is the sand 'port' be found. He loves playing in it!

This trip has included a good amount of trips to The Picnic Basket, the local candy store. B asks for it often, or tries to convince us that we want to go there!

B and I have had some relaxing days that have been nice.

*Flash Back*
About three years ago one of my best friends from college, Anna, came with her little one to join us at the beach. Here is what Brayden and Kingston looked like.

Here is what they look like now.

These buddies see each other every few months. They LOVE each other dearly. They love to run and play!

B even convinced Kingston that he likes The Picnic Basket.
It's been almost 10 years of friendship!
Did I mention we also let Kingston's sister come too? :)
Ruby is so sweet. Just a few steps behind the boys!

Ruby is pretty darn cute!

What a beautiful family!

How cute is this?

Before leaving we had to go to The Sleepy Monk.
B loves watching the beans roast.
Kingston even got in on the action.
We sure love this family!

This was just the first part of our trip. The rest of the trip we look forward to time with Nana, Island Man, Gaga, and a visit from Papa and Grandma Mickey!! Oh yeah, and Scott comes back from a work trip/ski trip in Salt lake.
Good things are still to come!!!

Meet Paige

I have a few people in my life that I strive to be like. When teaching the 'cute teacher' next to me was one of those people. Adriane always seemed to teach and handle situations with such grace. Her kids minded her and she always had the best project displays outside her door. When I grew up I wanted to be like her. Well, after she gave birth to he oldest, Owen, it was VERY clear that she was going to take the title of Mother of the Universe award. She was a natural. Fast forward a few years when I got pregnant. She was the one driving to school with ginger ale and saltines. She's the one who gave me her maternity clothes and the list of what I need for the baby, and what I should just borrow of hers. Yes, she is that type of friend.

Now, she is the mom of two wonderful boys and then, as of February  their little daughter Paige joined the family!!! Of course this needed a celebration!

We came over briefly to meet Paige. B was smitten when meeting her.

Yes, he likes Owen and Landon too, but Paige is a catch!
I was excited to celebrate and welcome Paige with a baby shower.
There were a variety of different stations around the house. Since this was an open house style people came and went through out the shower.

The ladies of the hour!

I had a lot of help with food, which was really great.

Esther always has the magic touch.
Over 30 people came and went to meet sweet Paige.
A few Cooper ladies!
Landon and Owen were really into the shower.......
Adriane got some sweet and thoughtful gifts.
It was a wonderful time to spend with friends and celebrate Paige. I look forward to many fun memories  with this little girl.
