Brayden's Ladies

Brayden LOVES the ladies. He loves hanging out with them!
He wooed Shayne with his toys.

And loved on Lucy!

Brayden's a ladies man, what can I say?

We love the beach!

The past weekend our family was blessed to have a brief getaway to the beach. Brayden is now sitting fairly well and LOVED running his hands through the sand. He entertained Scott and I for a good hour each time we went down to the beach. Brayden's best buddy Kingston came with his parents to join us for part of the time. It was such a delight to spend time with good friends and see the boys 'play' together!

It was actually sunny at the Oregon Coast!
Wow, sand!

Treasure in the sand!

Not such a great treasure in the sand

Brayden couldn't believe his luck that his best buddy Kingston showed up at the beach also!!

They partied hard!

After so much fun, it was time for bed!

Kingston thought Brayden was fun, Brayden was still in shock Kingston knew which beach house he was staying at.

The next morning was beautiful, so we took off to the very windy beach

Brayden was thrilled there was still sand to play in!

Soon Kingston joined us to be pelted with sand!

Brayden loved showing Kingston a thing called sand

Brayden then thought he might like some dad time

The boys went and played

That evening all of us went to Cannon Beach for dinner

When Anna and I were nannies in college we dreamed of this:

But to make that dream happen we needed:

To make:

Here are just a few more pictures, in case you didn't believe we had a great time!

And the best picture from the weekend:

Dedication weekend

Brayden has been such a gift to our family. While it's been a long process, we are are so blessed to have Brayden doing so well. We decided to have him dedicated at church. As an outward sign that we acknowledge that Brayden is God's and we are blessed to raise him. We want to raise him in a Christian household and want the help of friends, family, and our church to bring him up knowing Jesus. We had a dedication at church and a small gathering at our house the night before.
Scott made a wonderful steak dinner for the evening.

Brayden loved playing with his friends. Kingston is his accountability partner to make sure Brayden grows in Christ and chews on toys.

Brayden was excited to show Kingston how to jump!

Kelsey and Josh loved on Brayden. Brayden is always impressed with Josh because he's one of the only guys Brayden knows who can grow facial hair!

Proud Dad who cooked and lead a great evening!
Happy mom who loved seeing friends and family

The Trihubs, Brayden's future family!
The kids got along great. Lucy hung with the big boys, literally
True Love, can see it in her eyes? (Don't be jealous Kingston, there is a girl out there for you too!)

The next morning at church Brayden was ready to shine!
These two don't look proud, do they?
On our way onto the stage, Brayden decided to totally fill his pants. I'm surprised the front row didn't get up and move.
No other babies that were dedicated wanted to be help by Pastor Ron. We gladly passed Bradyen off, he smelled rank, plus we wanted him to have the full experience!
He was perfect up there!
Great Aunt Judy came to watch Bradyen's dedication!
Nana did too!
